Trina Solar files automatic shelf registration

Philadelphia, July 15 - Trina Solar Ltd. filed an automatic shelf registration in an F-3ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers ordinary shares, preferred shares, depositary shares, debt securities and warrants. The securities may be structured as convertibles.

The use of proceeds will be detailed in later filings, the company said.

The company, based in Changzhou, China, manufactures solar-power products.
