TriMas files $250 million shelf registration covering debt and stock

Knoxville, Tenn., March 1 - TriMas Corp. filed a $250 million common stock and debt securities shelf registration in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration also covers 11,904,972 common shares, which will be offered by selling stockholders.

The debt may be structured as convertibles.

TriMas, a Bloomfield Hills, Mich., provider of engineered and applied products, will use the proceeds for general corporate purposes.
