China's Baidu selling dollar-denominated notes via Goldman, JPMorgan on Tuesday

Atlanta, July 30 - China's Baidu Inc. is planning to issue dollar-denominated notes on Tuesday with bookrunners JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs, according to a company filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The proceeds from the deal will be used for general corporate purposes, including merger and acquisition activities.

The notes include a make-whole call.

Baidu is a Chinese-language internet search provider based in Beijing.
