Baidu plans to offer two tranches of dollar-denominated notes

Columbus, Ohio, Oct. 5 – Baidu, Inc. is offering two tranches of dollar-denominated notes, the company said in a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Goldman Sachs (Asia) LLC, BofA Securities and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC are joint bookrunners for the Securities and Exchange Commission-registered deal.
Proceeds from the notes will go toward repaying existing debt.
Baidu is a Beijing-based internet services company.
