Bahrain considers issuing up to $1 billion of new bonds

Atlanta, Feb. 3 - The Kingdom of Bahrain is considering an issue of $1 billion of bonds, a market source said Thursday.

The deal could come to market as soon as March.

No other details were available Thursday.
