Argentina's TGS buys back $30 million 7 7/8% notes due 2017

Chicago, Dec. 1 - Transportadora de Gas del Sur SA said it repurchased $30 million of its 7 7/8% notes due May 14, 2017.

The company said it bought back the notes in the open market.

TGS issued $500 million of the notes on May 14, 2007.

TGS is a Buenos Aires-based transporter of natural gas in Argentina.
