Transmeta shareholder Riley Investment drops stake to 4%

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 29 - A group of Transmeta Corp. investors led by Riley Investment Management, LLC sold 247,541 shares of the company's stock, keeping a 4% ownership interest.

According to a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the shares were sold between Dec. 19 and Dec. 23 at prices from $17.8218 to $17.90 each.

Riley sold 161,152 shares between Dec. 11 and Dec. 18 priced from $17.8414 to $17.9065 each, a prior SEC filing said.

The investors beneficially own 491,554 shares of the Santa Clara, Calif.-based company's outstanding stock.

Transmeta develops computing, microprocessor and semiconductor technologies and related intellectual property.
