Town Sports five-member unsecured creditors committee appointed

Olympia, Wash., Sept. 24 – The U.S. Trustee overseeing Town Sports International, LLC’s Chapter 11 case appointed a committee of unsecured creditors, according to a notice filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The committee includes Darren Xu of 575 Lex Property Owner, LLC based in New York; Seth I. Pilevsky of Philips International Holding Corp. of New York; Brad Blumenfeld of BDG 99QB, LLC based in Syosset, N.Y.; Mykola Kolomiichuk of Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.; and Nancy Radford of Boston.

Town Sports is a Jupiter, Fla.-based owner and operator of fitness clubs. The company filed bankruptcy on Sept. 14 under Chapter 11 case number 20-12168.
