ACI Worldwide sets brief roadshow for $300 million eight-year notes, whispered at high 5% to 6%

By Paul A. Harris

Portland, Ore., Aug. 6 – ACI Worldwide, Inc. plans to run a Monday-to-Tuesday roadshow for a $300 million offering of eight-year senior notes, according to market sources.

An investor conference call was scheduled to get underway at 12:30 p.m. ET on Monday.

Initial price talk has the Rule 144A for life deal coming to yield in the high 5% area to 6%.

BofA Merrill Lynch and Wells Fargo Securities LLC are the joint bookrunners.

The notes come with three years of call protection and feature a three-year 35% equity clawback at par plus the coupon.

The Naples, Fla.-based provider of real-time payment and banking services plans to use the proceeds, together with cash from its balance sheet, to redeem its outstanding 6 3/8% senior notes due 2020 in full.
