DBRS rates Total notes AA

DBRS said it assigned an AA rating with a stable trend to Total Capital Canada Ltd.'s proposed $750 million 1.625% medium-term notes due Jan. 28, 2014 and proposed $750 million of floating-rate notes due Jan. 17, 2014.

The agency also assigned an AA rating with a stable trend to Total Capital SA's $500 million 4.125% medium-term notes due Jan. 28, 2021.

The notes are guaranteed by Total SA.
