TD Bank to price capped leveraged buffered notes tied to Russell 2000

Olympia, Wash., Aug. 28 – Toronto-Dominion Bank plans to price 0% capped leveraged buffered notes due Sept. 1, 2021 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 200% of the index gain, capped at par plus 10% to 12%. Investors will receive par if the index declines by 10% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that the index declines beyond 10%.

TD Securities (USA) LLC is the agent.

The notes will price on Aug. 30.

The Cusip number is 89114Q4S4.
