New Issue: TD Bank prices $1.15 million leveraged buffered notes on index, fund

Olympia, Wash., June 15 – Toronto-Dominion Bank priced $1.15 million of leveraged capped buffered notes due Dec. 16, 2020 linked an equally-weighted basket of an exchange-traded fund and an index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket consists of the iShares MSCI EAFE ETF with a 50% weight and the Russell 2000 index with a 50% weight.

If the basket return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 105% of the basket return, subject to a maximum payout of $1,409.50 per $1,000 principal amount.

Investors will receive par if the basket declines by up to 15% and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond the buffer.
