Toronto-Dominion Bank files $15 billion shelf covering debt securities

Knoxville, Tenn., May 30 - The Toronto-Dominion Bank filed a $15 billion senior debt securities shelf registration in an F-10 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The amount includes $6.65 billion of previously registered but unsold securities.

The debt may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will be added to the Toronto-based bank's general funds and used for general corporate purposes.
