TD Bank exercises redemption right for all series 14 preferreds

Chicago, Sept. 24 – Toronto-Dominion Bank will exercise its redemption right for all 40 million outstanding non-cumulative five-year rate reset class A first preferred shares, series 14 (non-viability contingent capital), according to a press release.

The preferreds will be redeemed at C$25 per share on Oct. 31, for a total of C$1 billion.

A final dividend of C$0.303125 per share will be paid in the usual manner.

The transfer agent is AST Trust Co. (Canada).

The bank and financial services company is based in Toronto.
