New Issue: TD Bank prices $1.27 million contingent interest barrier autocalls on Facebook, Netflix

By Taylor Fox

New York, Nov. 5 – Toronto-Dominion Bank priced $1.27 million of autocallable contingent interest barrier notes due Oct. 17, 2023 linked to the common stocks of Facebook, Inc. and Netflix, Inc., according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will pay a monthly contingent interest payment at the rate of 14% per year if both stocks close at or above their coupon barrier prices, 55% of the initial share price, on the observation date for that period.

The notes will be called at par plus the contingent interest payment if both stocks close at or above their initial prices on any monthly observation date starting Jan. 12, 2021.

If the notes are not called, the payout at maturity will be par plus the contingent interest payment due unless either stock finishes below the barrier price, 55% of the initial share price, in which case investors will be fully exposed to the decline of the worst performer.
