Torch Offshore creditors committee named

Houston, Jan. 24 - Torch Offshore, Inc. now has a seven-member creditors committee, according to a Jan. 21 filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

The unsecured creditors committee named by the U.S. Trustee in the case consists of Marie C. Gaudet of ASCO USA, LLC of Metairie, La.; Brenda J. Hingle of ART Catering, Inc. of Belle Chasse, La.; Ted Savoie of Central Gulf Towing, LLC of Cut Off, La., Kurt Charpentier of Coastal Wire Rope & Supply, Inc. of Houma, La.; Andrew T. Scherfenberg of Dyna Torque Technologies, Inc., of Houston; Joe G. Sanford, Jr. of T&J Enterprises, LLC of Morgan City, La.; and Randy Bergeron of Tesla Offshore, LLC of Prairieville, La.

Torch filed for reorganization under Chapter 11 on Jan. 7. The New Orleans-based offshore pipeline installation and subsea construction company working in the oil and natural gas industry, listed assets of $201.69 million and liabilities of $145.36 million in its Chapter 11 filing.
