Moody’s assigns Ba3 to T-Mobile notes

Moody’s Investors Service said it assigned a Ba3 to T-Mobile USA, Inc.’s proposed senior unsecured notes. The notes are expected to be sold in three tranches.

“T-Mobile's senior unsecured debt issued by T-Mobile entities is rated Ba3 (LGD4), reflecting its junior position in the capital structure and the proportion of senior secured debt in the capital structure,” Moody’s said in a press release.

The proceeds are expected to be used for general corporate purposes, including, among other things, financing acquisitions of additional spectrum and refinancing debt on an ongoing basis.

All other ratings, including its Ba2 corporate family rating and stable outlook are unchanged.
