Knoxville, Tenn., Jan. 3 - Threegold Resources Inc. completed a private placement of units for C$3.27 million. The deal priced for to C$4 million on Nov. 26 and was increased to C$5 million on Nov. 27.
The company sold 2,285 flow-through A units at C$1,300 each for C$2.97 million, decreased from a planned C$4 million, and 300 non flow-through B units at C$1,000 apiece for C$300,000, decreased from C$1 million.
When the deal priced, it was expected to include up to C$3 million of the A units.
Desjardins Securities Inc. was the agent and was paid a 7.5% fee.
Each A unit consists of 1,500 flow-through shares and 500 non flow-through shares. Each B unit consists of 2,000 non flow-through shares and warrants for 1,000 non flow-through shares.
The warrants will be exercisable at C$0.65 per share for one year.
The units were sold to investors in Quebec.
Proceeds will be used for exploration on the company Quebec properties and for working capital and general corporate purposes.
Threegold is a resource exploration company based in Val-d'Or, Quebec.
