U.S. Trustee appoints THQ's official five-member creditors committee

Wilmington, Del., Jan. 3 - THQ Inc.'s five-member official committee of unsecured creditors has been appointed by Region 3 U.S. trustee Roberta A. Deangelis, according to documents filed Jan. 3 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The members include:

• Peter Finkel of Minneapolis, Minn., representing Wilmington Trust, NA;

• James W. Langham of Stamford, Conn., representing World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc.;

• Jeffrey Korchek of El Segundo, Calif., representing Mattel, Inc.;

• Jonathan E. Rebell of New York, N.Y., representing Viacom International Inc.; and

• Jason Han of Chapel Hill, N.C., representing Silverback Asset Management.

THQ, a developer and publisher of video games based in Agoura Hills, Calif., filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 19. Its Chapter 11 case number is 12-13398.
