S&P: Thornburg unaffected

Standard & Poor's said Thornburg Mortgage Inc.'s (B/negative) plans to raise additional preferred and common equity will not have an immediate impact on its rating or outlook.

S&P said that it sees Thornburg's ability to raise additional common equity as positive.
