Lexington, Ky., Feb. 7 – Thai Beverage PCL (ThaiBev) said it issued 22 billion baht of debentures on Wednesday (//AA (tha)), according to a notice.
Specifically, the fixed-rate debentures were sold in four tranches as follows:
• 6 billion baht of debentures with a discount coupon of 2.98% with a term of two years, nine months and eight days;
• 5 billion baht of 3.08% debentures with a term of three years and three months;
• 6.5 billion baht of 3.25% debentures with a term of four years, 10 months and eight days; and
• 4.5 billion baht of 3.88% debentures with a term of 10 years, callable after five years, subject to a 0.2% redemption fee.
Bangkok Bank PCL, Kasikornbank PCL, Krung Thai Bank PCL, Bank of Ayudhya PCL, Siam Commercial Bank PCL, CIMB Thai Bank and Kiatnakin Phatra Securities PCL are the joint lead arrangers.
Proceeds will be used to repay existing debt, including the company’s two existing debentures maturing in March and April.
The beverage company is based in Bangkok.
