Textron plans to issue fixed-rate notes due 2028 via four bookrunners

Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 11 – Textron Inc. intends to sell dollar-denominated senior notes due 2028, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes feature a make-whole call and then a par call.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and U.S. Bancorp Investments Inc. are the joint bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used to make a voluntary contribution to Textron’s pension plans.

The multi-industry company has units including aircraft, defense and finance. It is based in Providence, R.I.
