Textron to issue fixed-rate notes via JPMorgan and BofA Securities

Knoxville, Tenn., March 10 – Textron Inc. intends to sell dollar-denominated fixed-rate notes, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes feature a make-whole call and then a par call.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and BofA Securities, Inc. are the joint bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including the redemption or repayment of debt, including the company’s £150 million of 6.625% notes due April 2020 and its $350 million of floating-rate notes due November 2020.

The multi-industry company has units including aircraft, defense and finance. It is based in Providence, R.I.
