By Paul A. Harris

St. Louis, May 25 - Aztar Corp. plans to price a quick-to-market offering of $250 million 10-year senior subordinated notes (Ba3/B+) on Wednesday afternoon, according to an informed source.

No price talk was available when the Prospect News High Yield Daily went to press on Tuesday evening.

Banc of America Securities, Citigroup and Deutsche Bank Securities are joint bookrunners for the Rule 144A offering.

The notes will come with five years of call protection.

Proceeds will be used to fund the tender for the company's 8 7/8% senior subordinated notes.

The issuer is a Phoenix-based casino operator.
