Texas Industries shareholder cuts stake to 9.5%

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 22 - Investors led by Southeastern Asset Management, Inc. sold 791,037 shares of Texas Industries, Inc., reducing their ownership interest to 9.5%.

According to a schedule 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the shares were sold between Dec. 8 and Dec. 19 at prices from $34.93 to $36.67 each.

Southeastern beneficially owns 2,620,280 shares of the Dallas-based cement company.
