Tesoro Petroleum starts roadshow Thursday for $400 million five-year deal

St. Louis, April 2 - Tesoro Petroleum Corp. starts the roadshow Thursday for $400 million of senior secured notes due 2008 (BB), according to market sources.

Pricing is set for April 10.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the bookrunner. Banc One Capital Markets is the co-manager.

The Rule 144A notes are non-callable for three years.

Proceeds will be used to repay debt under the senior credit facility.

The issuer is a San Antonio-based independent refiner and marketer of petroleum products and provider of marine logistics services.
