By Rebecca Melvin

New York, Jan. 14 – Termocandelaria Power Ltd. announced that it has selected banks and will be marketing an offering of U.S. dollar-denominated senior notes (expected rating: BB+), according to market sources.

The banks arranging meetings are BofA Merrill Lynch and Scotia, one source said.

Fixed-income investor meetings began on Friday and were expected to continue through Jan. 18.

Proceeds are expected to be used for downstream operating subsidiaries and to repay existing debt.

Termocandelaria is a power generation company based in Soledad, Colombia.
