Moody's assigns Aa2 to Tenn. Housing bonds

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an Aa2 rating to the $50 million Tennessee Housing Development Agency homeownership program bond issue 2008-2. The outlook is positive.

Proceeds will be used, together with an agency contribution, to originate qualified mortgage loans to eligible borrowers for single-family, owner-occupied housing in Tennessee.

Moody's also affirmed the Aa2 rating on all outstanding homeownership program bonds.
