Moody's rates Tengizchevroil notes Baa3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned definitive Baa3 ratings to the $1.1 billion 6.124% notes issued by Tengizchevroil Finance Company Sarl, guaranteed on a senior secured basis by Tengizchevroil LLP. The outlook is stable.

Moody's said its definitive rating affirms the prospective rating assigned on Nov. 1.

Tengizchevroil is an oil company in Kazakhstan, with revenues of $3.5 billion in the first nine months of 2004. Its partners are ChevronTexaco (50%), ExxonMobil (25%), KazMunayGas (20%) and Lukarco (5%).
