Alon Holdings Blue Square-Israel unit buys NIS 1.15 million of notes

Minneapolis, June 19 - Alon Holdings Blue Square-Israel Ltd. announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Mega Retail Ltd. acquired from an institutional investor in an off-market transaction NIS 1.15 million par value of Alon's unsecured non-convertible series C debentures.

The debentures were purchased at a price of NIS 81.8 per NIS 100.00 par value for an aggregate consideration of NIS 940,700, according to a 6-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Based in Rosh Ha'Ayin, Israel, Alon owns and operates supermarkets and specialty stores.
