Aberdeen Asset Management repays $125 million 7.2% notes due 2016

San Diego, July 7 - Aberdeen Asset Management plc has repaid in full its $125 million of 7.2% subordinated notes due July 7, 2016, according to a company filing with the London Stock Exchange.

The repayment was financed from cash resources. The company said it is part of its strategy of using operating cash flow to enhance its balance sheet strength.

Aberdeen Asset Management is an Aberdeen, Scotland-based investment company.
