Dasny calls portions of series 2000 Cornell University revenue bonds

Madison, Wis., June 1 - The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York gave notice that it will redeem portions of its outstanding Cornell University revenue bonds, series 2000A and 2000B, on July 1.

The variable-rate bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

To be redeemed are $1.915 million of $53.005 million outstanding 2000A bonds due July 1, 2029 and $2.22 million of $70.68 million outstanding 2000B bonds due July 1, 2030.

The New York-based authority is responsible for financing and building facilities for higher education, health care providers, court facilities and certain nonprofit institutions and public agencies. The university is located in Ithaca, N.Y.
