Fannie Mae plans to redeem $2.47 billion medium-term notes at par

San Diego, May 13 - Fannie Mae said that it will redeem $2.47 billion of its medium-term notes, according to a press release.

The redemption price will be the principal amount plus accrued interest up to the redemption date.

The following securities will be redeemed May 23:

• $30 million of 5.76% notes due May 23, 2033;

• $30 million of 2.05% notes due May 23, 2013;

• $50 million of 1.05% notes due May 23, 2013; and

• $50 million of 1.05% notes due Aug. 23, 2013.

The following securities will be redeemed May 24:

• $50 million of 4% notes due Feb. 24, 2020;

• $50 million of 1.7% notes due Feb. 24, 2015;

• $50 million of 1.55% notes due Nov. 24, 2014; and

• $250 million of 1.7% notes due May 24, 2013.

The following securities will be redeemed May 25:

• $50 million of 3.5% notes due Feb. 25, 2020;

• $125 million of 1.75% notes due Aug. 25, 2015;

• $100 million of 3.05% notes due Nov. 25, 2015;

• $135 million of 0.5% notes due Feb. 25, 2013; and

• $1.5 billion of 1.3% notes due May 25, 2012.
