New York City Transitional Finance defeases, calls $3.51 million bonds

Cleveland, May 3 - The New York City Transitional Finance Authority said that it defeased $3.51 million of its $250 million of series 2002C future tax secured fiscal bonds on April 25.

The bonds will be redeemed on Feb. 15, 2012 at par. They are:

• $1.19 million of 5% bonds due Feb. 15, 2024;

• $1.25 million of 5% bonds due Feb. 15, 2025; and

• $1.07 million of its $1.315 million of 5% bonds due Feb. 15, 2026.

Bank of New York Mellon is the agent.
