Steinway to redeem $85 million of 7% senior notes due 2014 on May 2

San Diego, April 1 - Steinway Musical Instruments, Inc. will redeem for cash $85 million of its 7% senior notes due 2014, according to a press release.

The redemption will occur on a pro rata basis on May 2 at a redemption price of $1,017.50 per $1,000 principal amount of notes plus accrued interest.

A notice of partial redemption is being sent to all registered noteholders by the trustee, the Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA (800 254-2826).

Steinway, based in Waltham, Mass., is a manufacturer of musical instruments.
