East Bay, Calif., rescinds mandatory tender of water system bonds

Madison, Wis., March 7 - The East Bay Municipal Utility District of California has rescinded the mandatory tender of its $163.03 million water system subordinated revenue refunding bonds, series 2009A-2, according to a notice.

The bonds were originally subject to mandatory tender for purchase on March 1 at par due to a new interest rate period, effective March 1.

The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the trustee for the bonds.
