Chicago calls $53.24 million of G.O. project and refunding bonds

Madison, Wis., Nov. 23 - City of Chicago said it will redeem $53.235 million of its $491.76 million series 2001A general obligation project and refunding bonds on Jan. 1.

The bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date, according to a press release.

The following bonds are affected:

• $1.12 million of bonds due Jan. 1, 2026;

• $11.545 million of bonds due Jan. 1, 2031;

• $12.16 million of bonds due Jan. 1, 2033; and

• $28.41 million of bonds due Jan. 1, 2038.

Amalgamated Bank of Chicago is the agent.
