Japan Airlines buys back of ¥1.5 billion of its convertibles due 2011

Kansas City, Kan., Nov. 23 - Japan Airlines System Corp. said it repurchased a total of ¥1.5 billion of its zero-coupon guaranteed convertible bonds due 2011.

According to a company announcement, the company repurchased ¥750 million of the bonds Nov. 15 and another ¥750 million of the bonds Nov. 21.

Following these transactions, the amount outstanding is ¥4.569 billion.

Japan Airlines is based in Tokyo.
