Wichita, Kan., defeases $104.69 million of water and sewer bonds

Minneapolis, Nov. 17 - The City of Wichita, Kan., gave notice that it has defeased $104.69 million of its series 2003 water and sewer utility revenue bonds, according to a release.
The following bonds will be redeemed on Oct. 1, 2013:
• $450,000 of its 3.75% notes due Oct. 1, 2012;
• $4.75 million of its 5% notes due Oct. 1, 2012;
• $850,000 of its 3.9% notes due Oct. 1, 2013;
• $4.575 million of its 5% notes due Oct. 1, 2013;
• $1.325 million of its 4% notes due Oct. 1, 2014;
• $4.325 million of its 5.25% notes due Oct. 1, 2014;
• $5.975 million of its 5.25% notes due Oct. 1, 2015;
• $6.3 million of its 5.25% notes due Oct. 1, 2016;
• $6.625 million of its 5.25% notes due Oct. 1, 2017;
• $7 million of its 5.25% notes due Oct. 1, 2018;
• $7.35 million of its 5% notes due Oct. 1, 2019;
• $7.7 million of its 5% notes due Oct. 1, 2020;
• $8.1 million of its 5% notes due Oct. 1, 2021;
• $8.5 million of its 5% notes due Oct. 1, 2022;
• $8.925 million of its 5% notes due Oct. 1, 2023;
• $3.95 million of its 5% notes due Oct. 1, 2024;
• $15.99 million of its 4.75% notes due Oct. 1, 2028; and
• $2 million of its 5% notes due Oct. 1, 2028.
