National Grid repurchases £10.84 million in 4.75% instruments due 2010

Knoxville, Tenn., July 22 - National Grid Electricity plc announced it repurchased and will cancel £10.84 million of its £250 million in 4.75% instruments due 2010.

Following this, there are £216.23 million of the instruments remaining.

National Grid is an electricity and gas company based in London.
