Educational Funding, Tenn., calls $24 million 2004-2A educational bonds

Knoxville, Tenn., May 26 - Educational Funding of the South, Inc. said it will redeem $24 million of its $500 million in senior series 2004-2A educational loan revenue bonds at par plus interest to June 1, the redemption date.

The Bank of New York Mellon (800 254-2826) is the trustee.

The not-for-profit public benefit company is based in Knoxville, Tenn. It provides student loan funding by purchasing loans from originators.
