Host Hotels plans to redeem all outstanding 8 7/8% class E preferreds

Knoxville, Tenn., May 19 - Host Hotels & Resorts Inc. said it will redeem all 4,034,300 of its 8 7/8% class E cumulative redeemable preferred shares on June 18.

The company will pay $25.00 per preferred, plus $0.3944444 in accrued dividends per preferred.

Host Hotels is a Bethesda, Md.-based real estate investment trust focused on the ownership and operation of hotel properties.
