Coeur d'Alene to swap shares for $14.22 million in 3.25% convertibles

Knoxville, Tenn., May 6 - Coeur d'Alene Mines Corp. agreed to issue common shares in exchange for approximately $14.22 million of its 3.25% convertible senior notes due 2028, according to an 8-K filed Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

On May 10, the company will issue 285,602 shares. On May 21, it will issue a number of shares equal to $9.5 million divided by the arithmetic average of the two lowest daily volume-weighted average prices of the stock during the 10 consecutive trading days beginning on May 7.

Coeur d'Alene Mines is a silver and gold producer based in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
