MuniMae subsidiary buys back $2.54 million junior subordinated notes

Tacoma, Wash., Feb. 18 - Municipal Mortgage & Equity LLC said its subsidiary MMA Financial Holdings Inc. repurchased $2.54 million principal amount of junior subordinated securities for the purchase price of $240,000.

The repurchase was made under an agreement reached on Feb. 12, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

This repurchase follows two prior repurchases by the company of $5,719,500 in junior subordinated securities for a total purchase price of approximately $686,340.

Baltimore-based MuniMae and its subsidiaries arrange debt and equity financing for developers and owners of real estate and clean energy projects.
