Indonesia's Indofood buys back Rp 36 billion of 2007 series IV bonds

Madison, Wis., Dec. 20 - PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk. announced the partial repurchase of its 2007 series IV fixed-rate bonds on Dec. 16.

Indofood bought back Rp 36 billion of its Rp 2 trillion 2007 series IV bonds due May 15, 2012.

The company said that the bonds that were bought back will be applied as partial settlement.

As of Dec. 17, Rp 1.96 trillion of the bonds remains outstanding.

Indofood is a Jakarta-based food manufacturer and supplier that is 50.1% owned by First Pacific Co. Ltd., a Hong Kong-based investment and management company in the telecommunications, infrastructure, consumer food products and natural resources industries.
