BlackRock plans to redeem all trust II auction-rate preferreds in January

San Diego, Dec. 16 - BlackRock, Inc. will redeem all of its BlackRock Credit Allocation Income Trust II auction market preferred shares in January, according to a Dec. 16 announcement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

BlackRock will redeem the shares at $25,000 per share for a total of $169,025,000. A total of 6,761 shares will be redeemed as follows: 861 shares on each of Jan. 4, 5, 6, 7 and 10 and 1,228 shares on each of Jan. 13 and 28.

BlackRock is an investment management firm based in New York City.
