Telephone & Data Systems calls $217.5 million 7.6% notes due 2041

Cleveland, Dec. 8 - Telephone & Data Systems, Inc. announced that it will redeem $217.5 million of its $500 million of 7.6% series A notes due Dec. 1, 2041.

The notes will be redeemed on Dec. 27 at par, plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

Bank of New York Mellon is the redemption agent.

The telecommunications company is based in Chicago.
