Washington to redeem $346.49 million G.O. bonds on Jan. 1 at par

Cleveland, Dec. 2 - The State of Washington announced that it will redeem its $124,525,000 of series 2001D motor vehicle fuel tax general obligation bonds and its $221.96 million of series 2001C various purpose G.O. bonds.

The bonds will be redeemed on Jan. 1 at par, plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

To be redeemed are the following series 2001D bonds:

• $5.83 million of 5% bonds due Jan. 1, 2012;

• $6,095,000 of 5% bonds due Jan. 1, 2013;

• $6,375,000 of 5.25% bonds due Jan. 1, 2014;

• $6.68 million of 5.25% bonds due Jan. 1, 2015;

• $7 million of 5.25% bonds due Jan. 1, 2016;

• $7.34 million of 5.25% bonds due Jan. 1, 2017;

• $7,705,000 of 5.25% bonds due Jan. 1, 2018;

• $8.09 million of 5.25% bonds due Jan. 1, 2019;

• $8,495,000 of 5.25% bonds due Jan. 1, 2020;

• $8,925,000 of 5.25% bonds due Jan. 1, 2021; and

• $51.99 million of 5.25% bonds due Jan. 1, 2026.

To be redeemed are the following 2001C bonds:

• $10,455,000 of 5% bonds due Jan. 1, 2012;

• $10.71 million of 5% bonds due Jan. 1, 2013;

• $11,905,000 of 5% bonds due Jan. 1, 2014;

• $12,465,000 of 5.25% bonds due Jan. 1, 2015;

• $13.07 million of 5.25% bonds due Jan. 1, 2016;

• $13.71 million of 5.25% bonds due Jan. 1, 2017;

• $14,385,000 of 5.25% bonds due Jan. 1, 2018;

• $14.8 million of 5.25% bonds due Jan. 1, 2019;

• $14,745,000 of 5.25% bonds due Jan. 1, 2020;

• $15.49 million of 5.25% bonds due Jan. 1, 2021;

• $16.28 million of 5.25% bonds due Jan. 1, 2022; and

• $73,945,000 of 5.25% bonds due Jan. 1, 2026.

Bank of New York Mellon is the redemption agent.
