Coeur d'Alene Mines issues 1.83 million shares in exchange for some 1.25%, 3.25% convertibles

New York, Jan. 6 - Coeur d'Alene Mines Corp. entered into privately negotiated agreements to issue a total of 1,833,932 common shares in exchange for $31,529,000 of its 1.25% convertible senior notes due 2024 and $2 million of its 3.25% convertible senior notes due 2028, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The privately negotiated agreements are dated Dec. 16 and Jan. 4.

The company issued 774,951 of the shares on Dec. 17 and expected to issue the remainder on Wednesday.

Coeur d'Alene Mines is a silver and gold producer based in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
