Fannie Mae to redeem $1.15 billion in medium-term notes in September

Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 8 - Fannie Mae said it will redeem $1.15 billion of its medium-term notes at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

The securities include $350 million in 4.05% notes due 2013, to be redeemed on Sept. 18; $100 million in 5.585% notes due 2017, to be redeemed on Sept. 18; $300 million in 5.625% notes due 2017, to be redeemed on Sept. 18; $100 million in 7.64% notes due 2022, to be redeemed on Sept. 21; $100 million in 7.875% notes due 2022, to be redeemed on Sept. 21; $100 million in 7.95% notes due 2022, to be redeemed on Sept. 21; and $100 million in 7.95% notes due 2022, to be redeemed on Sept. 21.

The government-sponsored mortgage provider is based in Washington, D.C.
